If you are seeking a beauty treatment to instantly revitalize your skin and achieve a beautiful, radiant glow, without the expense or downtime associated with surgery or injectables, a HydraFacial MD® treatment may be the solution you need. This popular facial treatment is renowned for its ability to improve the texture and tone of skin through hydradermabrasion, an exfoliation that utilizes water and active serums. In addition to cleansing and exfoliating the skin, this powerful treatment also eliminates impurities and infuses your skin with fundamental nutrients such as Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid and Antioxidants. As a result, it is suitable for a variety of skin concerns such as clogged pores, fine lines, and uneven skin tone. The HydraFacial MD® treatment is extremely effective due to its innovative 4-in-1 vortex technology system including exfoliation, an acid peel, extraction, and Antiox+ serum. In addition, as an optional step, a Vortex-Boost Serum can be added.
Step One: Exfoliation
The first step of the HydraFacial MD® treatment is exfoliation, using an Activ-4 serum to provide skin with a deep clean and eradicate dead skin cells. As a result, skin is refreshed and prepped for the next step.
Step Two: Acid Peel
The next step involves a gentle yet effective acid peel, which penetrates the skin, in order to loosen the deeply settled dirt and debris, which is responsible for symptoms such as blackheads and whiteheads. Unlike other peels, this glycolic/salicylic acid peel is mild on the skin and therefore does not cause burning or skin peeling. You may experience a slight tingle; however, it is very tolerable.
Step Three: Extraction
Unlike a typical facial, which may involve painful manual extractions, step three of a HydraFacial, known as the Vortex-Extraction™, utilizes vacuum suction to eliminate blackheads and other impurities. During this process, patients will feel a sucking sensation, as pores are unclogged. This step helps ensure the effectiveness of both the final step and your future product usage as it enables serums and other skincare products to soak into the skin. In addition, during this step, Beta- HD™ serum, comprised of salicylic acid, spirea ulmaria flower extract, and anti-inflammatory honey, is used to clean and soothe the skin.
Optional Step: Vortex-Boost Serum
Depending on the patient’s needs, a vortex-boost serum may also be applied between steps three and four. There are three vortex-boost serums to chose from, depending on your individual goals for the facial. The DermaBuilder boost, is a nourishing peptide serum which effectively treats fine lines, uneven tone and texture. The Growth Factor Boost includes naturally occurring proteins that work to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, encouraging healthy cell growth. Finally, the Britenol Boost is best for patients who are bothered by the appearance of hyper or hypopigmentation, as it works to even skin tone.
Step Four: Antiox+ Serum
The last step involves the infusion of an Antiox+ serum into the skin in order to shield and nurture the skin with antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. This final application works to tighten and hydrate the skin, encouraging the production of collagen and elastin, and discouraging future skin discoloration.
As a result of this ground-breaking 4-step process, patients will notice a significant reduction in breakouts and an improvement in skin tone, texture, and brightness.
