Biorevitalization

Want to look younger?

Biorevitalization

*One of the most exciting non-surgical developments for skin revitalization is available right here at Philosophy of Beauty in Vaughan, On. Biorevitalization offers a miracle solution for many of your facial aging concerns and is available in one, powerful new treatment.*

What is Biorevitalization?

*Bio revitalization is a process which triggers the skin’s own, natural collagen production and cell rejuvenation through the injection of hyaluronic acid serums. Hyaluronic acid, (HA) is a naturally occurring sugar in the body which is found in the skin, joints, cartilage and other areas, providing natural lubrication. This substance is hydrophilic- drawing many times its weight in water. As we age, we have less naturally produced HA in our tissues and skin dehydration becomes a telltale sign of aging. The hydrating power of hyaluronic acid in the Biorevitalization treatment feeds the skin’s cells at a deep level and results in supple, younger-looking skin with reduced wrinkles and improved elasticity. Due to the fact that one molecule of hyaluronic can hold up to 500 water molecules, it is extremely effective in maintaining moisture in the skin and this is a powerful weapon against the signs of aging.*

*This safe, absorbable gel is a popular, natural dermal filler which is most often used to add volume to facial features. Clinical use has demonstrated that the filling effect of HA lasts longer than the biological availability of the product. Possible explanations may include the stimulation of collagen creation by crosslinked HA filler, and up-regulation of elastin which helps keep skin supple. The process of Bio revitalization was created to take advantage of this phenomena and deliver results to the skin itself. It is injected through multiple, shallow locations just under the skin to stimulate fibroblasts and healthy cell metabolism.*

How Does Biorevitalization Work?

*Micro doses of HA are injected superficially- just under the skin’s surface- with a very fine needle in areas such as crows’s feet, cheeks, forehead, laugh lines, neck and the backs of hands. Prior to the treatment, the skin is thoroughly cleansed and numbed with a local anaesthetic cream if necessary. One of the best things about Biorevitalization is that because injections are very shallow and contain only small amounts of product, discomfort is minimal and there is no downtime or after care required.*

Frequently Asked Questions

1What are the benefits of Biorevitalization?
  • Improved skin tone and elasticity
  • A “lifted” effect
  • Smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Improved circulation and colour in the skin
  • Quick results – improvements are often noticed after the first session
  • An increase in the natural production of HA in the skin
  • Increase in skin resistance to the effects of free radicals and in skin regeneration capacity
  • A minimally invasive procedure with no downtime required
2What is the difference between Biorevitalization and Mesotherapy?
*Biorevitalization and Mesotherapy are both effective, non- surgical methods of skin rejuvenation. Although both involve the injection of HA into the skin, Biorevitalization places cross-linked HA, superficially under the skin to stimulate skin rejuvenation. Mesotherapy uses a synthesized cocktail mixture which includes non-crosslinked HA, vitamins, peptides or medications, to deliver nutrients below the skin and to the subcutaneous tissues, targeting specific problems. Cross-linked hyaluronic acid is usually preferred for Bio revitalization because it is a more cohesive gel that holds in place longer and is injected superficially, just under the skin. Due to these differences, HA in the skin is preserved for a longer period of time with Biorevitalization therapy and saturates the skin with moisture.*
*The number of treatments required for each procedure will also differ. 3 treatment sessions are recommended with Biorevitalization, whereas Mesotherapy requires 5-10 in order to appreciate optimal results.*
3Which body parts can be treated with Biorevitalization?
*Although the procedure can be performed on almost any area of the skin, the most popular treatment areas are the face, neck and décolleté area and the back of the hands. Biorevitalization is suitable for even very delicate and sensitive areas of the body, such as the upper and lower eyelids. These areas of the body tend to be more susceptible to sun damage and as a result people often notice aging in these areas first.*
4How long does the treatment last?
*Each Biorevitalization treatment lasts between 30-60 minutes.*
